LIMESTONE SOCIETY:
Introducing Henry Wahl

One of Harmony School’s long-time supporters is Henry Wahl. A retired educator and former Navy lieutenant who traveled the world with his late wife Cecilia, Henry has served on Harmony’s Advisory Board for many years.

Of being a charter member of The Limestone Society Wahl says:
“Like its mineral namesake, The Limestone Society will help give HEC a sound financial foundation. Because I really believe in the kind of work HEC does, I’m happy to think of myself as one of its solid blocks of support.”

The Importance of the Harmony Scholarship Fund

FOR YOUR INFORMATION

Harmony School presently has a student count of 187 students

The Capital Campaign is not intended to increase school enrollment

This year 80% of Harmony School students are on tuition subsidies

The Campaign goals include a $2,000,000 scholarship fund to help fund preK-12 education for students who want to attend Harmony School and whose families cannot afford the cost.

Harmony School has a sliding scale of tuition, based upon the financial situation of applicant families. However, some students who could benefit from the Harmony School experience still cannot be accepted.

A fully-funded scholarship fund would produce up to $100,000 a year to help guarantee that the access and diversity needs of the Harmony School student body can be met.

The campaign will include many different scholarship funds. A named fund from your family, or in honor of someone, is a wonderful start.

Harmony Education Center has been awarded a $2.5 million matching grant from the Paul Foundation in New York City. This will leverage your donation during the campaign.

Your donation or pledge can be tailored to meet your financial ability, tax situation, and cash flow considerations. Please call for a confidential meeting to generate ideas.
