LIMESTONE
SOCIETY APPROACHING END OF FIRST YEAR
Most
organizations have ‘giving clubs’ that honor and recognize
those donors who support them at higher levels. One year ago Harmony
Education Center commenced its own version of that, selecting a local
natural resource as its ‘mascot.’
The Limestone Society was so named to honor its members by recognizing
them as strong foundational supporters of our work. Like the naturally
occurring veins of limestone that lie beneath the surface of our area
and like the lovely details that embellish our building, these supporters
truly give us strength.
As we close in on the first year of The Limestone Society’s
existence, we’re heartened to note that thirty-four individuals
and organizations are charter members, having contributed nearly $80,000
of support to Harmony Education Center. This show of support is both
humbling and inspiring, and we express our heartfelt appreciation
to all who became Limestone members this year.
At this time I invite all to look over the list below and consider
joining the company of these generous and community-minded people
by making a gift to The Limestone Society today. Contributing by the
turn of the year means you will be forever remembered as a charter
member of this significant group. Use the envelope found elsewhere
in the newsletter or call me for details at 812-334-8379.
