HEC Receives Grant from Indianapolis Foundation

Harmony Education Center (HEC) received a $25,000 grant from the Indianapolis Foundation, an affiliate of Central Indiana Community Foundation, for the Harmony-Corps Student Engagement Project in partnership with the Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS).

Harmony-Corps is also funded by the Indiana Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives with funding through the national Corporation for National and Community Service. This funding supports twelve AmeriCorps members and a program director, Romona Smith. IPS, The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, George Washington Community School, and HEC help support the program as well.
